Hi,
I had a firewall alert on 2 files: rbSolnUpdate.exe and
rbSolnUpdateENU.2.5.0.exe. I haven't been able to find out anything on these
files. They were located in the ...\Local Settings\Temp folder. Now they are
gone but I have a file named RBSOLNUPDATEENU.2.5.0.EXE-3648439D.pf in the
Windows\Prefetch folder. Does anyone know what these files are for and if
they are safe files?
thanks
TP

Windows version? Have you asked your question in Zone Labs Forums?

Do you have an HP printer? See Post #6 in this archived conversation:

i have XP media center. Yes I do have an HP printer and no I haven't been to
Zone labs but I can. Thanks for the link. I had thought that the alert prior
to this one was for HP updates clicked o k for it. However I saw a message
flash across the screen but it was too fast to catch. I haven't had HP
updates do that. And then of course I got the alert on this file so squashed
it til I could investigate it. I contacted HP chat and that guy thought I
might have a virus or something. Thanks for your help.

known tweak for additional performance. Usually this is done response
to a large amount of data that may have accumulated as windows
occaisionally will do in this file. It's cool no wories - think of it
like yet another temp file or yet another mem cache. If it is a valid
file then a hard copy exists on disk and windows will auto "fetch" the
next time it needs it.  ............... In short I recomend to open
the prefetch folder select all contents and delete.

Yes, Google Groups does have some formatting issues, thank you.
