what do i need to do now????

Kabouter

Ive taken 512mb memory out of my old damaged pc and slotted it in my new one
how do i make it work or does it work on its own. also how do i connect my
old hard drive to my new pc without disconnecting the new hard drive. any
help much appreciated

1. If your system didn't beep during boot, the memory was accepted. To
verify right click My Computer/Properties...the amount will be listed at the
bottom of the General tab. And/or Start/Run/Msinfo32 - right pane.

2. Change the jumper(s) on the hard drives to signify master and slave.

Yabbut... that means that I take all the heat for being "grumpy".
