Dear All,
Weird setup here, two nights on the run I've returned to my pc and it has
reset, I've worked out from the time my LAN connection has been on since, a
time that the machine reset, looked at the Event log and there is nothing
standing out to indicate why my machine would reset, I can't see Microsoft
sending out two automatic updates, two consecutive days, both with a reset
command on them (which I've seen before)...
Anything else I can check, try to instigate to see if it happens again?
I've done all the usual, Virus check, Spyware & Malware checks....(I've used
Adaware, SpyBot, I'm running McAfee and have Windows Defender running)
I'm stumped, usually there is some indication, I don't have the
"Automatically Reset" in the "Startup and Recovery" so if it is major I
would (I think) expect to see a BSOD when I returned, not a reset....
Temps on the machine are all ok (or operating normally) and there is a
decent airflow on the machine, 90% of parts are only 6 months old, and the
PSU is only about 9 months old....
I'm stumped....
Can anybody give me any pointers to check or instigate to try and find the
problem?
