Web pages freeze after loading in IE 10

I'm new to Win 8 & IE 10. I ran into a problem with some web sites freezing, but not all did. For example AOL mail would freeze shortly after loading, but Bing had no problem. I solved the problem by resetting IE 10 to its defaults. I think my problem started after I tried to install the Google Tool Bar. I had used the tool bar in Win 7 & IE 9 without problems. I haven't done extensive testing to support my hypothesis that Google Tool Bar & IE 10 don't play well together, but my experience implies there might be a conflict.
 
I seen the same thing. I used Googlebar and had the same results with IE 10. Could have something to do with Metro and the way IE 10 interacts with it.
