First sorry if this is not the correct place for post.

The company I work for just installed a Cisco VPN network. I use a Cisco VPN client to connect with. Once connected to the PIX, I should be able to telnet to get on the mainframe (which is a dec alpha, running open VMS) I am not getting to much help from the installers on trouble shooting our problem. So here is my question.

From my laptop I can connect to the PIX and Mainframe from a local coffee shop. But when I get home (5 miles away from coffee shop) I can connect to the PIX but I can not get on the mainframe (using the same laptop and client). Both the coffee shop and my house use the same ISP. So where will my problem lay at. PIX configuration or the translation from the PIX to mainframe or what? any ideals on how to trouble shoot this would be great! Thanks

Probably a stupid question but do you have a firewall installed at home? If you do you might have to some config to open up some ports.
