Hello:
When I try to make a new ASR using ASR wizard, I received the following error:
Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Backup.bkf created 7/18/2007 at 5:24 PM"
Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
Timeout before function completed
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:0xffffffff.
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:ffffffff
Aborting Backup.

The operation did not successfully complete.
The server has windows server 2003 SP2 and MS SQL 2005 SP2, also into the
event viewer I can read:
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: An internal inconsistency was detected in
trying to contact shadow copy service writers. Please check to see that the
Event Service and Volume Shadow Copy Service are operating properly.
