I'm hoping to run VM Server on my home edtion computer but have just seen
posts in this forum that suggests I can't put IIS on this machine, which is
required by CM ware.

Is there no way round this????

Looks like what you got was hardware that included a polluted hard drive
containing a remnant Windows install rather than also getting a licensed
copy of Windows with that hardware.
