Vista Task scheduler - tasks do not start

When I create a new task in TS, it does not start - regardless if trying to
start a program or simply pop up a message. Manual start from within TS not
working either.

Upon "Run" status changes from "ready" to "in queue" (xlated from danish).
Job stayes in queue forever, and no job action is observed.

After "Stop", status changes from "In queue" to "Running", still no task
action.

After a number of additional "Stop"'s, status changes back to Ready.

Scenario is Vista Ultimate, SP1. "Services" shows TS *IS* running. UAC is off,
and so is Windows defender. This stuff is killing me.

Any Ideas, anyone ?

There is no GUI for tasks set to 'run if the user is logged off'. You need
to change the task setting to 'run if logged on' to get what you want.
