When you create a new task in the Vista task scheduler you have an option to
let this task wake up the computer if it's sleeping. I want to know, if
anyone of you know that, which of the embedded Windows Vista programs (Like
disk defragment, Windows update etc.) support the ability to wake up the
computer from sleeping using their internal scheduler. To be more clear i
make an example: When you launch Vista disk defragment utility you have an
option to schedule this task. Does this option support waking up the computer
from sleeping?
Can you kindly give me a list of Windows Vista applications (Only Microsoft
applications embedded or not embedded in Vista, like, for example, Onecare)
that support natively, with their internal task scheduler (Not through the
Vista task scheduler), the ability to wake up the computer if it's sleeping?
Thanks a lot
Best regards
