Reading the latest Computer Shopper, one of the tips was using the Vista
snipping tool. The article says it is in the accessories folder on the
start menu. For the life of me, I can not see it. How do I make it show
up? TIA

You probably have the wrong version of Vista.

Try this:

Control panel
Classic view
Program and features
Turn windows features on or off
Select tablet optional features

If you don't have the last item, it's not included in your version.

The Tablet feature is on some versions of Vista at Control Panel, Programs
and Features, Turn Windows Features on or off.

Just type in Microsoft

The snipping tool is so handy, I wonder why they put in the Tablet PC
features? It seems that it should be an accessory for all.

Some higher-end versions of Windows include those features.

Yes, I run Vista Ultimate. The question is why is the snipping tool
considered a tablet PC feature, instead of a standard accessory? Of
course, it is a Vista design decision. I question it because while I
am not interested in other tablet PC features, I like the snipping
tool and use it frequently.
