Greetings-
I performed these actions:
1) Run Setup again. (Hoping this would refresh any internal system file
settings that we, the user, have no easy access.)
2) Checked to see that No folders were added to the Library. According to
MS, WMC looks into Pictures, Music and Video folders for media unless the
user adds folders in the Library settings.
…apparently not. WMC is still looking into other document folders and
displaying gifs in the Music Slide Show that are not located in Pictures,
Music or Video.
So, for now, here’s another “work aroundâ€:
-Music Library
-select and play music files
-select Slide Show
-right click on first photo that you know resides in Picture folder. Select
Picture Details. Select Play Slide Show option in Picture Details.
-Slide Show now selects photo from the folder location of the first photo
that you right clicked on (which hopefully is the Picture folder).
This has been working nicely for me all day.
Anybody else have a solution or is this a WMC bug?
