I have a Vista Ultimate client that shows the background of my home
page, so that it is not bright white, and plays a video clip as soon as
the page opens. However, when I try to see the same home page from the
Vista Business client, the background is missing in IE, and the video
clip never plays. How do I unblock this.

there is a setting in IE7 to 'not allow video that does not play in an
external player'
make sure that is not enabled.

I am not finding anything like that in the advanced list in Internet
Options, and can find any other settings for IE. Where would I look in
this oh so intuitive package called IE7?

Thank you. I was going up and down the Advanced tab settings. I always
thought that the Advanced always included all the other settings at a lower
level, but I guess not.

Alas, that setting was disabled on my Vista Ultimate client, which does show
the video clip. It was also disabled on the Vista Business client, and
enabling did not enable the display of the video.

I guess I will try lowering that security setting to medium and see what
happens then.
