My sound has suddenly stopped working. I am running vista 64 with realtek HD audio. Device manager says all is working properly, realtek control works in that I can test the 5.1 surround sound and all speakers work from the pc. In control panel/device
manager I see the bar graph going up and down with the music from a CD in the drive but no audio comes out of the speakers or from headphones plugged into the pc, the same is true playing any audio file either from the hard drive or via the internet. I've
been trying everything including restore to when all was well but still no joy, it's driving me nuts can anyone suggest what I need to do to fix it please?
