I am trying to remove Virtool:JS/Obfuscator.FN from my Windows 7 computer. It was detected but not removed when I ran the Microsoft Safety Scanner multiple times. Windows Defender, Malwarebytes and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool don’t detect it. Am I doing something wrong? The Malware Protection Center says Microsoft security software removes it. Do I have to install MSE or does Safety Scanner and Defender cover MSE? Any suggestions? Thanks.
