I am still unable to view video clips, for example at www.weather.com. I
have the latest version of Real Player and Media Player. I have 2 gigs of
memory. When I click on the video it goes to the start page and then
freezes. As far as I can see something in IE7 is causing this.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on. Please help.

Get the latest Flashplayer from Adobe.com, then go to the IE Properties
click on Advanced Tab and under Multimedia Option make sure play Video check
box is checked and see other options there.

Nass,

I rolled back to IE 6. Still nothing. Now I went to start and had the IE
icon there, right clicked on it, but only got Internet Properties. How do I
get to the plain IE properties. Sorry not tooooooooo good at this yet. I
see nothing about playing videos where I was. Thanks

Hi Dale,
1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Advanced Tab and check mark these boxes under Multimedia:
[#] Multimedia:
[ ] Play animations in web pages
[ ] Play sounds in web pages
[ ] Play Videos in web pages
[ ] Show pictures
[ ] Smart image dithering

Click [OK] then Hit F5 to refresh then see if that will help.
If it doesn't what kind of video is that (codecs wise) and try to download
the latest flash player9 from Adobe.com
