When using GoogleNews and the word 'Video' appears in a news article and I
click on it, a black screen opens. I get the sound with the news report,
but no video. I have no other problems with video links such as to Youtube,
etc. as they work as they should. The problem only appears when I am
looking at GoogleNews. This is not the case on my XP machines. I am a new
user of Vista. Any suggestions? Thank you. Roving

You probably need to down-load and install video codecs to decode the video
signals in the clip, depending upon the file format/type.

Thanks Hiren. I'll give that a try. I checked this morning and found that
I have the latest WMP11 for Vista available as it is newer than the one on
the MS download site.

Doesn't GoogleNews Video use Adobe Flash? If that's the case, changing WMP
wouldn't do anything useful.
