This is a problem that affects both my Ubuntu and Mint partitions, but not the win7 partition on this box. General browsing works okay, but things that require a POST back to the server or seem very AJAX heavy are completely unreliable. I can usually open up one gmail account and it's pretty functional, but opening up a second or third is extremely unreliable. Uploading an image or even POSTing a simple text form to other services is also super unreliable. 'Unreliable' in this context means a high chance that the post will time out.

This happens on both Chrome and Firefox on both Ubu and Mint. Based on an AskUbuntu thread I've tried dropping my txqueuelen down to 50 and have also tried the recommended tweaks to FireFox's conf settings. I haven't yet tried switching to DJBDNS because I'm not sure yet if this is likely to be a DNS problem.

I'm connecting to the network via a home router. This is the output of sudo lspci -nn:

I'm not sure what my next steps for diagnosing this problem should be, any help would be totally appreciated.
