I bought a Windows 8.1 tablet and opted to have the code sent to my phone. The number was gabbled twice before I could get a pen, followed by 'Goodbye'. There was no way to repeat the process. I clicked 'Unable to complete process at this time'.
Apparently Windows 8.1 is 'Activated'. Should I attempt to get the process repeated and how would I do it? What are the consequences if I do nothing?
