Utilizer count

Raúl Coelho

I was administrator in my computer but i changed to a limited count. Now i
want to be adminstrator like i was to be but i don't find the way.

Boot to Safe Mode (F8 on restart) and log on as "Administrator".
Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
Click the user's account name.
Click Change the account type.
Click the type of account you want, and then click Change Account Type.

Hii, unless u have another admin account to administer the os u cant change
ur current admin account to limited so login to that account and elevate the
privilages to ur required account.

It's very easy if you have another Administrator account on the system.
Log on there, promote yours.

In XP Home, the actual Administrator account is only visible in Safe Mode.
Often, the password is blank (just press enter).

If there *isn't* another Admin level account, you're not in a good position.
Attach the drive to another system and back up the data, because you may be
doing a clean reinstall of Windows.
