We rarely shut down our computer but Hydro did a shut down for about .5 hr one night a week ago. When our computer rebooted it looks like it has gone to a Default Setting. The Guest option is disabled so we know it's just not as simple as changing user. The problem is we bought our computer from my husband's cousin. He merged some of his files with ours. I'm not sure if that has caused some of this. When we restart it, our account comes up for our login and password, this has not changed, we still need to put in the password, but our desktop goes to the original settings.
I can find our files that are on our account from Computer>Program Files>Users?.... How can I change the account so that when the computer starts up, our desktop/files/folders, etc are once again visible?
