a friend gave me a usb optical mouse which has affected the speed in which
web pages load
i turned off the computer, unplugged the old mouse, plugged in the new one,
re-booted the computer, it recognized the mouse and everything was ok til i
tried to log onto the internet. . at first pages would not even load. .
received the msg "page cannot be dislpayed". . did a system restore. . now
web pages load but takes forever. . . any suggestions other than going back
to the old mouse?. . .thanks for any help

a USB mouse shouldn't affect your web service one bit, that just makes no
