Apologies if this question has already been asked, but I need to know if it is possible to disable usb data transfer but retain the power on a Motorola ES400 running Windows Mobile 6.5. For addtional security, we would need to retian the charging function, to allow a 12v carger to connect and charge the device, while preventing access to the data funtion, while away from the base.
I believe that by making use of the docking cradle available with this phone, that the copper connections of the battery door will provide charging and data transfer capabilities, but am not certain whether this is considered to be a second individual USB port, or just a replication of the standared USB connection.
