Hello everyone,
Ok I will try to type this again. The first time I tried to type this my Surface froze up for no reason and had to be improperly shut down. Ok, I am going to upgrade the RAM on my Dell Dimension 4700 and I need some help and advice before I do. My Dell says it has 0.99 GB RAM installed. I looked inside and found that it has two sticks of 512 MB RAM. I found 2GB RAM (2 sticks of 1GB) for Dell Dimension 4700 at amazon.com and am planning on buying that. So when I upgrade the RAM do I pull out the two sticks of 512MB and replace them with the new 2 sticks of 1GB from amazon? Are there any precautions I should take? (Besides wearing a anti-static wrist band) Thanks.
