I'm planning on upgrading my Windows XP computer to Windows 7. Reading the tutorials on how to do this, I see the preferred method is to use the Windows Easy Transfer software. However, when using this it says that I must transfer settings/files to an external location. My question is:
My XP computer HD has two partitions, one XP plus and one for media, picture files etc. Is it possible to transfer the computer's settings/files to the second partition on my HD without having to use an external source?
