Upgrading from Windows XP to 7 Pro or 8 Pro

I need to upgrade 11 machines from XP to something newer but I'm not sure if to go with Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro.


My question is when will Windows 7 support end? I don't want to buy Windows 7 to only have the support end a year later or something.
