Whenever I try to install this update, it fails with error code 80070103. How can I install it properly?

No details to help me work out why, but I suspect that this update was not set up for proper handling of cases where the C: drive is on an SSD drive.
64-bit Windows 7 Professional SP1 with 16 GB memoryAll other Microsoft offered updates installed except Bing Desktop.
