Hi All -- This is my first post here so forgive the neivety.
I am running Ubuntu 13.10 on my Acer Aspire 5743 with 500GB Hdd and 4GB Ram for University.
I am looking to build my own firewall using Ubuntu's Firewall Builder.
The builder is asking for the "version" of Linux that the firewall is running on. The Options that I have are:
CISCO FWSM
CISCO Router IOU ACL
CISCO ASA/PIX
IPfilter
IPFW
IPTables
PF
Unknown
HP ProCurve ACL
My question is what Linux version is Ubuntu 13.10? I'm tempted to say Linux 2.4/2.6 as that is the only option under "New OS that the Firewall Runs on" that I feel fits best but thought it best to pose the question first.
Has anyone used the firewall builder in question? It is avaiable under the public licence in the Ubuntu software centre.
