I was told you will not be able to see the links without being told to
join something. If that is the case, don't touch them.
The long and short of the whole difference between user acct. and admin
acct. is :
User account can NOT install/uninstall any programs, can NOT change
settings, and in some cases requires admin. password to activate a
program.
Administrator account can do ALMOST all of the above.
