Comment section of recent news article about the U.S. Internal Revenue Service:
"If line 23 on Schedule L is greater than 51% of line 14 on schedule K copy the
amount from line 23 to line 12 on schedule Q. If line 23 on Schedule L is less than
50% of line 14 on Schedule K copy the amount from line 23 to line 46 on schedule
X. If line 23 on schedule L is equal to 50% of line 14 on Schedule K go back to the
instructions for line 1 on Schedule G and start over.
"Why should anyone need to call the IRS with such simple instructions?"
