Here is what I have done:
In Win 7, I made an image backup (vhd) using the built-in backup program. I copied this to an external HD.
Then, I fired up my WIN 8 Pro laptop. Connected the external HD. Opened Hyper-V and created a new VM by using the "existing VHD" on the external HD which is the WIN 7 image backup.
However, I get a "Boot failure. Reboot and select proper boot device." message.
Am I missing something?
EDIT: I dont want to dual boot, I want to be able to open my WIN 7 OS under WIN 8 environment.
