On my windows 8 hp laptop i have trouble logging in. Whenever I do an error message pops up saying "you cannot log into this PC this time, please go to acount.live.com to fix this problem or try the last password used on this pc." (or something like that at least) (occasionally i get a password is incorrect message) and after putting in the exact same password 5 or 6 times I finally log in. I am certain it's the correct one. I tried going to acount.live.com but it didn't help. It's been like this for a few months and really annoying. I can log onto the website just fine.
