When I am trying to install the service pack 2 I get the message "set up
cannot copy th efile clbcatq.dll". It gives me the optiobn to retry or
select a differnt location. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with your last statement - but I will ask for your help in helping
you...

- What product are you updating with "service pack 2"? (In other words -
service pack 2 for what?)
- How are you attempting to install this patch? (From automatic updates,
the Windows Update web page, downloaded executable or CD?)

I got rid of a Trojan on my friends machine that was causing the file to be
hidden even in explorer.exe and cmd.exe. The file was being masked by the
first three letters clb* which also included some Microsoft system files. I
even checked by placing the files on a CD ROM and could see them on a good
machine but couldn't see them on the one with the Trojan. I used freeware by
simplysup dot com to remove the Trojan then I could install the service pack.
