I cannot drop files with Apple as I used to with Android so have watched may ways to do so differently. I have watched about 10 hours of videos and cannot decide.
Instead of trying them all- I don't have a VM-, I am asking if you know the best way to do so. Preferably I would like to not pay and do this easily as possible.
I know you can use itune with a cable but is there an easier way wirelessly, or is that the best?
I look forward for your help. I am only 5 on 1-10 level so please bear in mind.

That seems to be the most popular way but attachment size is a factor.
I tried that but I can't seem to get the emailed file into the phone.
I never used Itunes except to watch videos on how to. is that an easy way or an you think of another. Airdrop would be good for two apple devices. I had some luck with my phone and my wife's but the PC cannot be used.
With the holidays I have to learn - I miss the android phone in many ways. It did everything and well.

Use iTunes to transfer the files. It is the easiest way. Install iTunes then connect the iPhone via USB to your computer. iTunes will open and recognize your phone. It will ask you to log in with your Apple ID. Once logged in just drag and drop the images you want on your phone.

Word of advice. Store your images in icloud and not on the phone. You'll run out of room fast if you are like me and take a lot of pictures. I pay $1.99 a month for 100 gigs of storage on icloud. Well worth it for me.

I only keep about 20 photos on the device and all my photos are in an external drive. I only use icloud for backups along with the itunes backup.
I am trying to see how to use itunes and the one with windows x is difficult.
I was watching a video which said to connect the devices and follow any prompts then click on the device icon at the top then on file sharing. That's all I got. Does this sound right so far and then what should I do- just drag and drop? How do you know which is which?

Basically I take photos with a camera and upload to pc. Now I'll also take photos with the phone and send to pc. Once on pc Ican then do as I wish.

When I connect to iTunes with my iPhone and computer all I see is the page with many options and I don’t know what to do I’ve tried tutorials but they don’t look like my computer so I can’t just drag and drop I did however find out that when I trust the computer with my iPhone I can move files from phone to computer and computer to phone but I couldn’t do it before this is without any app without iTunes and I Have an Apple device

I was going to send a print screen of what I see but the app won't even open. I clicked repair to no avail. I guess I will reinstall it and hopefully can send a screenshot.
*Just a note and that's it; I am using Onedrive successfully. I swear, once today, I copied a file from phone to pc and the the reverse. I cannot replicate that feat. Are you supposed to be able to copy from desktop to phone using file explorer?

Yes. Windows will recognize it a USB drive and you'll be able to copy files to and from it in Windows Explorer. I actually forgot about doing it that way.

Doug I hate to sound crabby but with file explorer, I was able to trust the pc then, only once, could I transfer files from the pc to the phone. Now they are blocked. I can do it from phone to pc however.
Can you transfer a file with file explorer to the phone from desktop?
