I have a 2009 pc with windows xp on it. A while back the pc started rebooting and this does not stop until i remove the power source. When i insert the windows xp cd it does not help or start to install windows again. I have a new laptop with
windows 7 on it and would like to transfer the data from the old harddrive to the new one. I cannot use windows transfer as i cannot access the home screen of my old pc to download the application. I can also not manually transfer the data to a memory stick
as i cannot select the files that i want to copy. The old pc has a SATA harddrive with one of those orange coiling cables and not the older flat grey ones. How can I transfer my data?
