Hi,
(Windows XP SP2, Dell Dimension 8300, 1.5 GB RAM)

I copied an old (1986) CD of classical music, and the tracks on the copy
appear on the track list and also play in reverse order. (The original Track
1 is Track 13 on the copy; Track 13 on the original is Track 1 on the copy,
etc.) In classical music, the order of a composition's movements is an
important factor and so is the order of tracks.

I've tried two different programs to copy the original -- CD -Easy CD-DA
Extractor, v.1.0.5, which has also worked perfectly, and Roxio Easy CD
Creator v.5 using its Test and Write settings.

The copies have numerous clicks and occasional moments of "jumbled" sound.

I've never heard of this kind of problem, and can't figure out what's
happening. Could a malfunction of the CD read/write hardware or the driver
cause this?

Any ideas?

Orrie
