Toggle Key Sound

Problem Description: I am trying to put sound on my toggle keys so when I hit
the caps lock button by accident I will realize it. This feature has always
worked perfectly until recently. I go into "accessibility options" then the
"keyboard tab" and put a check mark inside the sound box for "toggle keys",
hit apply and OK, the function does not work and when I go back and look the
check mark is no longer in the box.

I also go into the "sound tab" and put a check mark into the "use
soundsentry" box so the screen will flash along with with the sound when I
accidently hit the "caps lock" button.

I am using Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 and this is the only computer
in use.

Curiosity - when this happened , had you installed any new ( security
) programs ?

No, there had been nothing changed by me, no one seems to have an answer to
my problem so far. Thanks for you interest and trying to help me...
