Time format has gone incorrect

I've never seen this in any OS before.

Daily cold boot.

Noticed during the day, time of day in the System Tray is 24 hour format.

This is a change,

Checked in Time Adjust screen, Time of day is correct as 12 hour format,
Time Zone is correct, Day/month/year all OK.

I used a util to check time, my system time is accurate.

So the system reads 12 hour format, yet displays as 24 hour format.

Advice?

ms

Control Panel->Regional Options->Time tab.

Thanks, John, that did it.

Yesterday I installed nothing, ran nothing of significance., normal
shutdown.

What could have changed the setting that has been constant for years?

Look in your Event Logs to see if anything relevant is recorded.
Otherwise, I usually blame these little glitches on Gremlins...
