Hi All

Maybe someone has run into this problem before. While helping a friend
organize pictures on her computer we did an email of a picture she had
in the My Pictures tab. After the email was sent her picture was no
longer a thumbnail it changed to an Icon and I cant get it to go back
to a thumbnail. The file name remains the same except for .jpeg is now
at the end of the file name.

Thanks for the help
Steve

Go to the View menu in "My Computer" for that "My Pictures" folder. Go to
'thumbnails'

Hi sjkline,

Open the Run dialog box and type:

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

This should show you the thumbnail now. If it does not then go to My
Pictures folder, click the View menu to select Thumbnails.

Thanks Guys But none of the fixes seem to work I have tried the
view tab and it is set for thumbnails already.

Just for the hell of it, I tried and used "Send To" without any
ill effects. What you report is most intriguing. If you fix it
or find out what happened I'd like to know about.

Hi sjkline@chartermi.net,

If you right-click on the picture to select "Refresh Thumbnail" while
in thumbnail mode then what happens?
