I'm running windows 7 home premium. I have firefox & internet explorer. My firefox browser works fine. Recently my internet explorer browser displays "This page can’t be displayed". I tried refresh key #5 with no results. IE favorites work fine. In safe mode with networking the IE page works fine. Suggestions appreciated.

Hi N3.
Are you running IE11?
Are all your security updates up to date?

If your not running 1E11, you should be.
Download and install IE11, and get all your Windows updates up to date, and the issue will probably go away.

I'm running IE11. The only windows updates in the past two weeks I can get are microsoft security essentials.

Reset IE by opening IE, and then going to Tools. That's the gear icon in the upper right.

Then go to Internet Options.
Advanced tab
Click Reset...
Then click on Reset again. You don't need to delete personal settings.

If that doesn't clear it out, reset IE again but also put a mark in the Delete Personal setting box.

Tony.......Your suggestion about resetting my IE without deleting my personal settings worked like a charm. Thank you.
Also thanks to DSTM for your consideration.
