There are new newsgroups. Do you want to read them now

I get this message each time I start Outlook Express for newsgroups:

"There are new newsgroups. Do you want to read them now?"

How would I turn this message off permanently?

OE, tools menu, Options, General tab, checkbox for "Notify me if..."

Respond Yes, it'll show them to you, then close the
window.

Simplest solution is to click on OK and it goes away for sometime until
some more are added. Clicking on Cancel seems to prompt it to ask again.

You could go to tools and then options. On the general tab, uncheck "notify
me if there are new newsgroups"
