The space of my hard drive(C) is getting low. What can I do?

Hi,My Windows Update is set on recommended level. The space of hard drive(C) getting low, and other drives(E,F,G) have enough space. What happens then if the space of drive C comes to bottom level while Windows Update takes place. How much minimum space should
I keep for drive C? How to handle the process?Your co-operation will be appreciated.Thanks &amp Rgds,Solvemachine
