the problem is widows activation:

my computer does not go online. i use it for a data dump: music, photos, scanned letters. 2 hard drives. one for the data and one for any programs being used: windows, and any other program. program hard drive died. replaced it and reloaded windows xp and all needed drivers and fresh loads of any other program i use. it all works very well. the problem is widows activation: what do i need to do? the windows xp version was retail, bought for my last computer build. that computer died. this is a combination of parts from it and another computer. .
