Just lost 2 hours of productivity staring at a stuck windows update screen. While browsing windows questions on MS' nice little forum here, I found far more angry windows users than helpful answers. Me too, I thought. Oh well, charge the wasted time to the customer. I started getting into linux after Windows 8 came and shat upon the earth. I'm glad I only have to visit these forums for customer and work computers, my personal one with Ubuntu works great. Just wanted to put that out there. Thanks again for a great product and my high blood pressure, Microsoft!
Edit: Just want to toss this out there too: The offered 'fix' for the eye punishing, productivity slowing hiding scroll bar in Win8 was to use a third party fix. Which MS clearly states is not advised. So yeah, "Someone else's problem" seems to be the best answer here.
