I have not been able to get windows update since Nov 25 of 2012, update says some components are not running but when I check services is says windows update service is started in task manager. when I tried running update from web site I get error 0xc90000247.
I have uninstalled all the security updates that were installed on 11/25/12 in case they were causing the problem. i have a Toshiba Satelite A505-S6986
