I have just checked System Restore and see there is a restore point 15days in
advace of today i.e. 22nd June 2008. I dont know how it got there.

Is there a way of removing it safely and how might it have got there or
should I not worry and leave it??

I have XP pro with SP3 PC Guard, Spyware Doctor with anti virus & AVG anto
spyware

Thanks for any help

You cannot undo System Restore Points. You can only turn off System Restore
on that drive, then turn it back on, which will delete all restore points
then create a new one. It would seem that somehow that the time/date was
incorrectly changed on your computer, causing the weird restore point. Make
sure that Windows Time is set to automatically update the correct time on
your computer.
