System freezes on startup!

Hi, when I start my computer,I can not open any file or program.But I can use
mouse and keyboard.I can open Task Manager only by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL. I
have to restart my computer to work. When I restart my computer, \it works
perfectly.Please help me!

I had this same problem before, I don't know much about this but I'll tell
you what I did. First though, are you using Windows XP Home SP2, have you
recently installed Internet Explorer 7.0?

Anyway, try this. When you satrtup and it "freezes"bring up Task Manager,
click "file", click "New Task (Run..)" and type "explorer.exe",(without
quotation marks.) See if this does anything
