Synctoy dual-boot configuration

Hi everyone,

I run a dual-boot config between Vista 64 and XP Pro 32. I am
experimenting with Synctoy to keep about 100+gb of data synced between
a folder on my desktop and its equivalent on a portable hard drive
that follows me on the road.

The "left" folder resides on my desktop, "right" folder on the
portable drive. Can synctoy configurations be shared between two
different operating systems in a dual boot configuration? I'd like to
have the folder(s) sync consistently regardless of which OS is
running.

I try to keep their configurations as identical as possible. Same
drive letters, same My Documents folder (via TweakUI or registry
hacks), and I have a shared "programs" folder that contains apps
written well enough to run without needing to be installed first. I
noticed a SyncToyDirPairs.bin file in my Documents folder, I am
guessing this contains the pairings?

Thanks!

Tom
