Oh Boy - Another Update - Just FYI

Now that is incredible. You always seem to be right there on the cutting
edge. Just FYI

Kevin's timeline - Just FYI.

Install Vista - Can't do anything with it. Don't know what to do. Just FYI

Install Windows 2008 Server Public Beta Server - Again, don't know what to
do with a server, Just FYI. Isn't a server someone at a restaurant who
brings dinner? I am so confused. Just FYI.

Installed Ubuntu - Took 3-5 days. Racked my poor brain and finally after
many tries, got it installed. Again, don't know what to do with Ubuntu.
Just FYI.

Testing all the beta products. Everything seems to work. Nice pictures are
on the screen, Just FYI.

Good job Kevin, tell us when you need to go to the bathroom, Just FYI

This is rather off topic (ie not Vista) but I have set up Xubuntu on
an ex-office PC that was given to a young lad but had Win98 so screwed
up by viruses and a chequered history as to be unusable (no original
disks, of course). It wasn't worth spending money on it so I went the
Xubuntu path.

I am a very happy Vista user (there has to be one I suppose) but I was
impressed by Xubuntu. It's horses for courses and I wouldn't want to
switch. That said, the young lad can now connect to broadband and the
GUI looks very clean and modern.

You are correct. Ubuntu or Xubunt is for horses. They have always showed
success when using Ubuntu. That is why our belived Kevin John Panzke, the
right wing nut job, loves Ubuntu so much. Just FYI.

BBQ - Just FYI

I hear if you keep the heat low on your BBQ, turn the steaks every 7
minutes, they come out more juicy and don't get dried out. Has anybody
heard this? Just FYI.
