After my eTrust PestPatrol (Computer Associates) subscription expired, I
uninstalled the product. My problem is the Subscription Reminder continues to
pop up and I can't figure out how to delete it. Does anyone know how to
delete this? I suspect if needs to be done in the Windows Registry but I
don't know how. Can anyone help?

Why would you ask here? Why not look on CA's web page/FAQs, etc?

Make sure the files are gone...

1) Click on START, and select My Computer.
2) Select Local Disk (C:) and open up Program Files.
3) Select folder CA, open the folder and delete the eTrust PestPatrol
folder.
4) Another two folders are:
C:/Programfiles/commonfiles/scanner/ppctl.dll
&
C:/Documentsandsettings/Allusers/Applicationdata/Ca

Make sure you delete the above folders.

Make sure the registry keys are gone...

1) Go to START, select Run, type in regedit and click on OK.
2) In the Registry editor, scroll to the following:

+ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
+ SOFTWARE
+ ComputerAssociates
+ eTrust PestPatrol
(Click the + signs where you are instructed to "scroll").

3) Once you have scrolled to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\eTrust PestPatrol, click on
Edit (at the top of the screen) and select Delete.

Remove any remaining files manually...

Check to see if there are any Pest Patrol system files on your computer:
1) Right-click on START, then left-click on 'Explore'. When the Windows
Explorer panel appears:
In Windows XP: Click Tools / Folder Options. Click the View tab, and
then click the Show hidden files and folders tab.

2) Make sure you also Uncheck the box to Hide Protected Operating System
Files if you have one. Click OK.

3) Search for the following files given below, when searching be sure it
searches ALL hidden files and folders.

4) Click on START, then click on Search or Find, and select Files. Make sure
that the location box is set to: My Computer, type the following exactly and
delete any folders found
A) ppctl.dll
B) ppdoupdater.exe
C) pestpatrol5.ini
D) pestpatrol5.exe
E) lfinfo.dat
F) langv5.dat
G) ppfile.exe
H) ppinfo.dat
I) ppsrindex.dat
J) ppv5updater.exe
K) ppv5log.txt

5) Empty the Recycle Bin and restart your system.
