Stuck with old router firmware

My netgear router (cvg824g) does not have smart wizard and i cannot upgrade it. The installation cd does not work and i went to the support page downloaded the iso file then burned it to CD then started but turned out to be the exactly same as installation cd. The CD says cvg824g installation rom but it really only has options for installing a wireless Adapter. Will i have to get another router or something?
